Driven by purpose and passion, Lucienne Thomasi Jawo is a financial strategist, entrepreneur, and advocate for women in leadership. As Founder and CEO of JT Commercial Capital, she empowers startups and small businesses—especially women-led enterprises—to access the funding and financial tools needed to grow and thrive.
Originally from The Gambia, West Africa, Lucienne combines international business expertise with hands-on experience in finance, project management, and corporate leadership. Her professional journey includes key roles at Nationwide Insurance and leading architectural firms, where she delivered impactful results in financial management and employee development.
Lucienne is also the Founder and Executive Director of Hepiafrica.org, a nonprofit dedicated to eradicating poverty and promoting literacy and education in underserved communities. Through Hepiafrica, she has provided school supplies, books, and scholarships for children in The Gambia, fostering opportunity and hope for future generations.
