​Ashtan is an accomplished executive with a diverse career spanning venture capital, entrepreneurship, and investment banking. Currently, she serves as a Principal at Precursor Ventures, an early-stage venture fund in San Francisco, focusing on investing in technology companies at their inception.  Before joining Precursor Ventures, Ashtan gained valuable experience in investment banking at Citigroup for three years. She then transitioned to founding and scaling a successful beauty discovery platform while on the new venture team at Outerwall, which was later acquired by a private equity firm. As the Founder and Managing Partner of The MVX Group, Ashtan led the development of impactful digital products. She also contributed to the integration efforts as Head of Product for Dynamic Yield at McDonald’s Corporation.  Outside of her professional achievements, Ashtan co-leads the Stanford Women on Boards Mosaic Group, dedicated to assisting women of color within the Stanford community in accessing board opportunities. She holds degrees from Howard University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business
