Allison Ownby is a mission-driven leader with more than 15 years of experience bridging corporate strategy and nonprofit impact. At Citi, she served as Chief of Staff for the PBWM Technology COO, managing a $10MM operating budget and leading global initiatives that advanced engineering excellence across an 8,000-employee organization. Her leadership in Building Representative Boards, Cohort 5 Allison Ownby organizational redesign and change management earned her recognition as a top 1% performer with the Leadership in Excellence Award.
In 2024, Allison made an intentional pivot to reconnect with her roots in mission-focused work. As Director of Data, Research & Strategic Initiatives at the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, she leads research and evaluation for 1,400 nonprofits and manages the Catalyst Indicators Project, engaging 400+ stakeholders to drive systems change. She also operationalized a shared services portfolio that creates economies of scale and strengthens nonprofit infrastructure.
Earlier in her career, Allison served as Development Manager at Sulzbacher Center, where she raised over $1.5MM annually through fundraising campaigns and special events. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida State University and is passionate about leveraging strategy and data to create meaningful social impact.
Allison lives in Jacksonville, Florida’s historic Riverside neighborhood with her husband, two daughters, and a dog. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking new recipes, practicing Yoga and biking through the neighborhood with her family.
