In response to COVID-19, CEN has moved all of our programs online, offering virtual training opportunities that merge fundamental best practices with crisis management resources and opportunities for peer-to-peer connections and support. Additionally, we're offering special discounts and payment plans to make these offerings increasingly accessible during this challenging time (details below).
About the Program
The nonprofit sector needs resilient and knowledgeable leaders to deliver integral services, especially now, amid COVID-19 related challenges and the subsequent impact of this pandemic. CEN's Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Boot Camp is an opportunity to learn from industry experts, explore the nonprofit business model, develop/augment management skills, and gain a robust toolkit of resources to excel and sustain yourself in a nonprofit career. Additionally, we've embedded timely content (coping resources, fundraising strategies, etc.) to address current and evolving challenges. All of our virtual offerings are designed to be inclusive environments where participants can create authentic connections with peers and receive/provide support during this difficult time.
The intensive Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Boot Camp is a 3-day, not-for-credit certificate course for new executives, managers, board members, and emerging professionals from the nonprofit sector.

Leadership - Make the shift from individual contributor to leader and learn how to increase your impact by building and managing a strong team.
Financial Leadership - Understand the unique aspects of nonprofit financials and to use this information to create greater financial stability for an organization.
Strategic Development & Operational Planning - Learn the core principles of creating vision and a strategic framework, and how to build capacity through efficient and effective operational planning.
Fund Development - Explore comprehensive, proven fundraising concepts and gain specific tools and techniques that enable and empower fundraisers to effectively plan and manage development efforts.
Governance - Learn the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit boards, how build a board to meet your strategic vision, and how to engage board members.
Special Topics - Special topics vary by class and may include: Marketing & Social Media for Nonprofits, Measuring Impact, Technology, and more!
This course is intended for nonprofit professionals new to senior management positions, nonprofit leaders facing new management and leadership challenges (leaders include executive directors, department directors, board members, and key volunteers), and professionals in a governmental or private setting who would like to work or volunteer in the nonprofit sector.
CEN has been working diligently to offer paralleled course content and, in order to deliver the highest quality courses, we are breaking our online training into segmented parts.

CEN Events Cancellation Policy: CEN will accommodate cancellations up to three business days prior to the start of any event. A registered attendee who has been billed or invoiced but is a “No Show” on the day of the event will still be billed for the event. There are no exceptions to this policy, but substitutions are permitted at any time as long as the attendee is from the same organization. Approved refunds – requested before the 3 business day cutoff – will be issued through the original form of payment. Thank you!
