Workshop Description

Have you ever wondered who was responsible for fundraising and how this can be accomplished effectively? If so, this training is for you! The basics are revealed in the morning workshop, Fundraising 101, while the afternoon workshop will help you identify best practices for successful fundraising while clarifying roles at every level of a nonprofit organization. Together we will explore and practice strategies and techniques that will set proper expectations, expand your team's ability to raising money for your organization, and maximize your impact.

Intended Audience: Nonprofit staff, executive directors, and board members who participate in, or are interested in learning more about fundraising. 


  • Deep dive into various types of fundraising and identify ways you may help
  • Pinpoint fundraising responsibilities at every level of your organization
  • Examine the stages of fundraising 
  • Uncover fundraising facts and trends so that you can decided where to spend your time and energy to achieve the greatest results

CEN Events Cancellation Policy: Unfortunately, CEN is no longer able to accommodate cancellations within 72 hours of any event.  A registered attendee who has been billed or invoiced but is a “No Show” on the day of the event will still be billed for the event.  There are no exceptions to this policy, but substitutions are permitted at any time as long as the attendee is from the same organization.  Approved refunds – requested before the 72 hour cutoff – will be issued through the original form of payment.  Thank you!
