Most nonprofit board members never receive an orientation to their basic roles and responsibilities. As a result, you have amazing volunteers who want to help but don’t know how and staff that doesn’t understand why their board doesn’t do more. In this workshop, we will go over the 10 basic responsibilities of board service and will explore ways for nonprofit board members to maximize support of the organization's mission.
Intended Audience: Current board members, executive directors, and anyone wanting to learn more about nonprofit board service

CEN Events Cancellation Policy: Unfortunately, CEN is no longer able to accommodate cancellations within 72 hours of any event. A registered attendee who has been billed or invoiced but is a “No Show” on the day of the event will still be billed for the event. There are no exceptions to this policy, but substitutions are permitted at any time as long as the attendee is from the same organization. Approved refunds – requested before the 72 hour cutoff – will be issued through the original form of payment. Thank you!
