Lucky you, you’ve been on the board for a while and now you’ve been elected board chair! You want to contribute to the success of the board and the organization, but do not quite know where to start.
In this workshop, we will help you be an effective board leader by providing a refresher on board service responsibilities in general and a more in-depth look at the chairperson role in particular. We’ll explore the critical relationship between the board chair and the CEO and share best practices of board governance and leadership. You will also leave with tools to ensure your board meetings are efficient and the discussions are generative. Attend with your organization's Executive Director to make this training even more impactful for your organization.
