Executive Director Roundtable

Break down the isolation barrier! CEN’s exclusive series for nonprofit EDs and CEOs is a unique monthly forum in which nonprofit chief executives come together (now virtually) to share experiences, challenges, solutions, and best practices. We offer this series in multiple locations each year and each cohort meets for six months in order to deepen connections and build a community of support among participants.

"I have participated in the Palo Alto ED Roundtable since its inception - starting when I was a less 'seasoned' ED. During the years since then, my leadership style and abilities have evolved, aided by the shared wisdom, information, support and resources that have been available to all participants."

- Pam Brandin (Executive Director, Vista Center for the Blind)

Program Description

The monthly forum is a space for nonprofit leaders to come together for peer-to-peer connections and support. Participants will share experiences, challenges, and solutions during facilitated discussions that also include resources and best practices provided by CEN staff. The monthly format includes:

Each professionally facilitated series consists of 6 monthly meetings of directed peer support and learning, which take place on a regularly-scheduled day of the month. To maintain an intimate and productive environment, space in each group is limited.

"The CEN Executive Director Roundtable is a wonderful resource that provides Executive Directors, like me, the opportunity to discuss the complexities of running a non-profit organization and share ideas in a compassionate, collegial environment.  It helped me find a network of great resources and support!"

- Rob Tufel, Executive Director of Cancer CAREpoint
