The Center for Excellence in Nonprofits (CEN) has some exciting news! First, we have recently moved to the new Sobrato Center in Redwood Shores. We invite you to come visit our wonderful new resource center which is available to our nonprofit colleagues and members. Please click on this link for a virtual tour of the CEN Offices . Second, we are pleased to announce that we have strengthened our relationship with BoardSource (the nation’s leading Board educator) by becoming their first regional partner in the country. Although our two organizations already have a strong history of working together to provide our local nonprofit leaders with the information and resources they need to build and strengthen their boards, this affiliation will enable CEN to offer even more programs featuring BoardSource experts … such as the upcoming BoardSource Leadership Certifications (see accompanying program announcements on this page). And all CEN members will enjoy the full benefits of BoardSource membership and have access to their special resources such as webinars. CEN will also house a library and store of BoardSource’s governance products (books, toolkits, and assessments) to ensure that local nonprofit leaders have ready access to these resources.
